The Rise of Wow Tests: A Channel of Weird Experiments

With the skyrocketing popularity of Youtube, it's no surprise that different types of channels have emerged. From unboxing to makeup tutorials, there's a channel for any kind of interest. One such channel is Wow Tests, a channel dedicated to conducting weird experiments and challenges.

The Creation of Wow Tests

Wow Tests was created by an anonymous creator in December 2019. Since then, the channel has amassed over 438,000 subscribers and a whopping 342,562,844 views. The creator's identity remains unknown, but the channel description states that the videos are family-friendly and should not be tried at home.

The Content of Wow Tests

The main idea of Wow Tests is to conduct experiments that are out of the norm. One of their most famous series is called "Will It Flush?" where they test whether or not different objects, candies, and foods can be flushed down the toilet. Some of the items they've tested include plastic balls, candy, and even fast food.

Aside from "Will It Flush?" videos, Wow Tests also experiments with different objects such as balloons and slime. They also do toy and candy challenges, unboxings, and videos on life hacks. The channel's garnered a following due to their unique and quirky content.

The Risks of Wow Tests

While Wow Tests' videos may seem harmless, it's important to note that some of their experiments pose risks. In their "Will It Flush?" videos, they warn viewers to not attempt the experiments at home. However, some viewers may not take this warning seriously and attempt to replicate the experiment, potentially causing harm to themselves or their plumbing.

Moreover, some of the objects they test in their videos may not be environmentally-friendly. For example, testing whether or not plastic balls can be flushed down the toilet is harmful to the environment and is not encouraged.

The Future of Wow Tests

It's unclear what the future holds for Wow Tests. The channel has gained a significant following in a short amount of time and has produced over 1,300 videos. However, their content may come under scrutiny due to their potential harm to the environment and plumbing. Nevertheless, Wow Tests has created an interesting niche in the world of Youtube and continues to capture the attention of viewers with their weird experiments.
