For someone like myself, who definitely falls under the category of being a political and history nerd, finding a YouTuber, who has a Ph.D. in history, that shares my political beliefs, is like finding a needle in a haystack. With Aivalis, I know he has researched the history behind the political and economic systems we live in today and can back up his opinions with facts from the past.

Aivalis’ channel has an extensive list of keywords that give you an idea of what types of subjects he talks about, from Canadian politics and history to labor unions and economics. A quick glance of his channel shows videos discussing the recent Canadian Federal Election 2019, the imprisonment of the former Brazilian President Lula da Silva, and the recent migrant crisis in the U.S.
